Landscaping
Landscaping sites that sell the finished yard, not the service list
Design build is bought on imagination. The homeowner has to see the result before they call, and a gallery of other people’s properties only does part of that job.
Context
What actually converts a landscaping visitor
Seeing the outcome. A homeowner in a bare yard is trying to picture something that does not exist yet, and every extra step between curiosity and a picture loses people. Photography helps. A tool that renders their own property helps considerably more, and it captures the property details an estimator would otherwise have to ask for.
Scope
What we build for landscapers
- Visualizer tools that render the customer’s own property, not a sample gallery
- Design build and maintenance split into separate paths, because one is a project and one is a contract
- Seasonal content published ahead of demand, not during it
- Portfolio structure that survives having hundreds of projects added to it
- Estimate request forms that collect property detail instead of just a name
Questions
What landscaping operators ask.
Is an AI visualizer actually useful or is it a gimmick?
It is useful when it renders the visitor’s own property. A generic style picker is a gimmick. The difference is whether the output is specific enough to start a real conversation.
Should maintenance and design build share a site?
Same site, separate paths. A weekly maintenance customer and a full yard renovation customer are looking for different things and rarely convert on the same page.
How much photography do we need before launch?
Less than you think, if the layout is built around the slots. We build with labeled placeholders so the design is finished before the shoot, then photos drop in without code changes.
